The first new breed of X Factor hopefuls crossed the threshold this Saturday only to be watch by an astonishing 12.6 million views (according to http://www.dermotoleary.net/) and XFactor insiders. ITVs, in turn Simon Cowell’s x factor show is set to be one of ITVs highest grossing TV shows this year, with a whole host of stars lined up for the shows and not to mention the run up to the final beginning with the audition tapes, this year being filmed in front of a live audience.
The bookmakers are already showing an inclination towards Scottish talent Gamu Nhengu taking the early focus in x factor bets, with solid stage presence and the opportunity to gross the American Market – it is easy to see why the bookies have picked this girl as their early rival and front runner. With slim pickings from within the remaining talent pool we at bet on the x factor too think that this little lady is indeed in with a 9/1 early bird shot at the accredited title of X factor winner.
To date Gamu’s youtube vid of her audition, and take on “Waling on Sunshine” has seen just shy of half a million views to date. Stunning!
The show was fun fun fun to say the least and highlights some of the key items that you should take into consideration when placing a bet on x factor this year! Hitting the headlines of one of Britain’s best selling tabloids – x factor is apparently going to charge for tickets in 2010!
With program makers attempting to cut and recoup costs across the board as TV shows popularity begins to demise, it seems x factor is now jumping on the band wagon for 2010 tickets, the show was formally free to attend, with the finals being the only show where punters need book in advance. Now it appears that the shows makers ITV will be charging for entry to the knock out and 2nd review audition shows…
